International EISCAT Radar School 2010 was organized by EISCAT and Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory (SGO) on 30 August - 4 September at Sodankyla, Finland.
Altogether 40 students and teachers from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, United Kingdom, China, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Slovenia, USA and Peru spent 6 intensive days learning the ISR method and how to use the EISCAT facilities, including radars and the heating facility. Additionally several students from Japan and South Korea participated the school by following the lectures via internet during the week. A real experiment was run with ESR, data was analyzed in real time, and calibrated next day.
