Tor Hagfors, 1930-2007

The funeral of Professor Tor Hagfors will take place at 1400 on 6th February at Bekkenhaugen Kirke, Carl Grøndahlsvei 17, 0871 Oslo
Professor Tor Hagfors, the first Director of the EISCAT Scientific Association, holder of the first Beynon Medal, honorary member of the Council, and a steadfast friend of the Association over many years, sadly passed away on 17 January 2007 following a heart attack whilst on holiday.
Besides his formal connections with EISCAT, he was a personal friend of many members of our community, both within the EISCAT staff and amongst the Associates, and a frequent collaborator on many research projects.
